When it comes to Ford, the 1st/2nd generation Ford GT and now the Ford Mustang GTD are some of Fords most iconic productions. Each of these vehicles is a champion in their own right. Some of the fastest production vehicles ever produced.
Recently, we had this Ford GT in from a customers recent collection acquisition. The Ford GT received our Stage 1 Detail to properly prep the surface before doing a major Xpel Paint Protection Film coverage. Due to the 2005 era of the GT, much of the vehicle required full custom Xpel Paint Protection Film to properly cover all the surfaced. Once the GT was fully covered in Xpel PPF, the surface was coated in CQuartz Finest Reserve ceramic coating. This will ensure that the Xpel PPF will stay looking amazing for many many years to come.
The Mustang GTD was also from a customers recent collection acquisition, and the first Mustang GTD in Georgia. Something special about the GTD is that when it is delivered to customers, the paint is still curing from the factory. The Ford Rep who was there for the delivery made it abundantly clear to wait a minimum of 30 days before applying Xpel Paint Protection Film. Therefore in the wait time, we did a Stage 1 Package to correctly polish the paint, as the holograms and micromarring from the paint process was very much evident in the finish. Once fully polished, the entire vehicle was covered in Xpel Paint Protection Film, requiring a lot of modifications in Xpel designs to wrap even further edges on this amazing machine. Once fully covered in Xpel Paint Protection Film, the film was coated in CQuartz Finest Reserve to ensure this gem stays looking like a jewel for many many years to come.
